Acts of Love

This Lent, as we prepare our hearts for the celebration of Easter, we invite you to join us in showing Acts of Love—both in person and on your own. At Broadmoor, we believe that love is not just an emotion but a call to action. During this sacred season, we will have several opportunities to engage in meaningful acts of kindness and service, reflecting the love Christ showed us.
Whether through volunteer efforts, random acts of kindness, or serving those in need, we encourage you to participate in tangible ways that embody Christ’s love for the world. These acts can range from lending a hand at church events, supporting local charities, or reaching out to friends and neighbors with words of encouragement or care.
Kids Easter Egg Hunt
All children are invited to hop on over to our back lawn (behind the Casual Worship Center) for the Bmoor Kidz Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, March 30 from noon – 2:00pm. This fun-filled event is perfect for toddlers – 5th graders and includes delicious treats, fun activities, and door prizes in addition to the egg hunt.
Best of all…it’s completely free!
Food Drive
Our youth group is sponsoring a food drive for Southeast Ministries beginning March 30 at the Easter Egg hunt and lasting through April 30. Drop off your donations on Sundays in the blue bin located in Connection Café or on Monday – Thursday in the church office until 3:00pm.

peanut butter & jelly, cornbread mix, canned fruits, canned veggies, mac & cheese, pasta, spaghetti sauce, gravy, soup, canned meat, and beans
Acts of Love
Acts of love during Lent can be simple yet powerful ways to connect with others and share God’s love.
Offer a helping hand, send a thoughtful note or small gift, or invite someone to share a meal or coffee.
Additionally, explore Serving Opportunities here at Broadmoor, whether it’s helping with the Egg Hunt, assisting with church services, or volunteering with our Hospitality Ministry. These small acts can create lasting bonds, reflect Christ’s love, and make a meaningful impact on those around you.
